'Asthma at Work - Your Charter' sets out five key measures to significantly reduce asthma and its impact in the workplace and is aimed at employers, employees and health professionals.

It was founded in 2004 on the belief that no-one should have to work in an environment that compromises their health and well-being, and has recently been re-designed and made more concise.

Business Against Asthma

The Workplace Charter is one of the many benefits of our new business membership scheme called Business Against Asthma, and is part of our welcome pack for new members. Why not join and receive ongoing support and guidance tailored for businesses?  Other benefits for Business Against Asthma members include:

• Asthma Attack Cards for your first aid boxes.
• a certificate for your reception area.
• information on asthma triggers in the workplace and how to minimise these.
• opportunity to arrange for a visit from Asthma UK to talk to your staff.

Members pay a small donation to Asthma UK (suggested at £100 or whatever you can afford) so your business will also be helping fund our vital services to support over 5 million people with asthma in the UK.
