Asthma UK's Gala evening 2008 raises £155,000

The Asthma UK Gala Evening 2008 took place on 25 June at the renowned Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair. The event received fantastic corporate support and Asthma UK would like to thank all the companies who sponsored the event, advertised in the programme and attended on the night, helping us to raise a grand total of £155,000.

GAME was the lead sponsor on this prestigious event and provided extremely generous financial and in-kind support.  OC&C Strategy Consultants sponsored the raffle, Clifford Chance sponsored the table centres and Jupiter Asset Management sponsored the wine. The key benefits for sponsors included:

There were 295 guests, including those from our four sponsors as well as Barclays, Brunswick, Deutsche Bank, EA Consulting, Heath Lambert, Louis Kennedy and RBS as well as many more of our corporate supporters.

Celebrity guests included Rory Bremner who entertained the audience after dinner, Camilla Dallerup (Strictly Come Dancing), Heather Small (M People star and Asthma UK Ambassador) and James Thie (Great Britain Athletics Team).
