Professors

Asthma UK currently funds two professorial chairs. The funding supports a group of key staff and helps the professors to build up strong research departments and gain further funding from sources other than Asthma UK. This infrastructure also establishes an important training environment for junior asthma research scientists.

Recent professors include Professor Tim Williams who retired in 2010.
