Three people a day die from asthma.
Asthma UK is the charity dedicated to changing this.

Kick Asthma mini-marathon

Did you know that over one million children in the UK have asthma?

We are challenging your school or group to cover the distance of a marathon - a whole 26.2 miles - in any way you choose. This can be done in a day or over a period of time or in a single day.

'I have asthma so I know how frightening it can be. I also know how important exercise is, particularly for children with asthma. The Kick Asthma mini-marathon is a fun way to get active whilst raising money for a worthwhile cause'.

Kirsten O'Brien - Kick Asthma mini-marathon ambassador

How do I take part?

It couldn't be easier to register your school or group to take part in the Kick Asthma mini-marathon.

Once you have registered we will  send you a fundraising pack filled with tips and tricks to make your Kick Asthma mini-marathon a huge success!

We are also able to send you materials such as balloons, collection tins and ribbons for finishing lines to help you create a memorable event.

Why do we need your help?

Boy Using Inhaler On Sofa

With over 1 million children living with asthma, it is the most common long-term condition affecting children in the UK. Shockingly, over a third of children with asthma report that they can be left out of sport due to their symptoms.

By signing up the Kick Asthma mini-marathon you can help to change these statistics and improve the lives of everyone living with asthma by helping to fund our vital services including our expert adviceline and our groundbreaking medical research.
