Asthma - it hasn't gone away

This one-day conference for general and respiratory physicians, as well as interested allied health professionals, will examine the importance of asthma in the UK in 2012. Clinicians and scientists at the forefront of asthma research will give presentations on topics including: the origins of asthma including the epidemiological and genetic causes of the asthma epidemic; the importance of childhood asthma for adult disease; controversial areas of the asthma guidelines; the importance of distinguishing asthma from COPD and the diagnosis and management of severe asthma including novel therapies, such as bronchial thermoplasty.
