Challenge Fund: grants for local projects
Do you need funding for an asthma initiative?
Asthma UK supports community projects through the Challenge Fund, which gives grants to groups or individuals for initiatives that will identify, develop and promote good practice to improve life for people with asthma.
The Challenge Fund was set up in 2003 thanks to a generous legacy from Asthma UK supporter Aline Mozelle Morny, and it was decided that people with asthma should benefit locally.
There are two grant programmes, one for applications up to £10,000 and another for applications up to £30,000. All applications to the Challenge Fund will be evaluated and overseen by an external panel.
The next grant round is now taking place, with a closing date of Tuesday 13 November 2007. Trustees will confirm the selected projects in late January 2008.
