The Emergency Asthma Care Pack is a new resource to assist healthcare professionals who work in settings where they are likely to encounter people having an asthma attack and ensure a better level of service for people with asthma.

Other Asthma UK Emergency Care Materials

Booklet giving information on what you should do following an asthma attack. 'After your Asthma Attack' and 'After your Child's Asthma Attack' have been developed to help people with asthma receiving emergency care to get their asthma under control and prevent them from having to seek further treatment for unnecessary asthma attacks.

The booklets are for healthcare professionals to give to people with asthma who access emergency care. They aim to inform people with asthma and parents of children with asthma about the care they will receive and also the vital steps they can take to ensure that they or their child does not have a repeat attack.

Both booklets include a section for a healthcare professional to fill in with the person, showing them what medicines should be taken after their attack and information on how to keep their asthma under control.

Wallet sized card guide to do during an asthma attack. A tear off Asthma Attack Card is also included for people to keep with them so that they, their family and friends know what to do if that person has another attack.
