Community projects: the Challenge Fund
Each year, Asthma UK supports community projects through the Challenge Fund, which gives grants to groups or individuals for initiatives that will identify, develop and promote good practice to improve life for people with asthma.
The Challenge Fund was set up in 2003 thanks to a generous legacy from Asthma UK supporter Aline Mozelle Morny, and it was decided that people with asthma should benefit at a local level from this gift.
There are two grant programmes, one for applications under £10,000 and another for applications under £30,000. All applications to the Challenge Fund are reviewed and evaluated by a panel prior to final approval by the Council of Trustees.
The deadline for applications for the next round of funding has now closed.
