Help us make our research relevant to you

Researchers working at a computer Since 1927, Asthma UK has been funding pioneering scientific research with the aim of gaining a better understanding of asthma and associated allergy - to date, the charity has spent nearly £50 million on research to understand more about asthma, its causes and treatments.

Asthma affects 5.4 million people in the UK and the research we carry out helps us understand why asthma develops, why certain people are more susceptible to it and how to better diagnose, treat and live with the condition.

To help us demonstrate the impact of this research on the everyday lives of people with asthma, Asthma UK is launching an exciting and innovative project.

If you have asthma or are affected by it in some way, we would like your help in setting out the criteria that we use to measure the impact of our research.

Why do we need you?

Your input will help us ensure that we are asking the right questions, in the right way. This is your opportunity to help us define a set of criteria, against which we can measure the success of our research, thereby making its results as relevant as possible to people with asthma.
