The Information Standard mark

Asthma UK is certified as a quality provider of health and social care information by The Information Standard – a new certification scheme for health and social care information. Click to verify member. 

We have demonstrated we have the necessary processes and systems in place to ensure that our asthma information is reliable, relevant and of a consistently high standard. We can now display the Information Standard mark on all our new or revised information materials and the 'All about asthma' section of this website.

The majority of the general public feels overwhelmed by the health and social care information available to them. The Information Standard was launched by the Department of Health as an initiative to give the public an easy way to identify good quality health and social care information.
