Asthma Magazine - news story

After five years as an exclusive product for the members of Asthma UK, Asthma Magazine is ready to spread its wings and reach a wider audience with all the latest news and insights about living with asthma and will now also be available by subscription.

Asthma Magazine is the quarterly magazine for anyone with an interest in asthma. Whether you’ve just been diagnosed with asthma or are looking to the future to see what treatments are on the horizon, it will keep you well informed and help you to better manage your or a loved one’s condition.

Celebrities like Bill Bailey (comedian), Mutya Buena (singer) and Jenni Murray (broadcaster) discuss their asthma and careers in depth.

There are also stories about real life issues for people with asthma such as being a carer, complementary therapies and bereavement. These include people talking frankly about the impact asthma has had on their lives and their families as well as practical advice to help you better cope with your situation.

Neil Churchill, Chief Executive at Asthma UK, said: ‘Asthma UK is committed to changing the lives of people with asthma for the better, and Asthma Magazine can help us achieve this by empowering people with asthma with knowledge about their condition.

‘Living with asthma can be an isolating experience, and we know from your letters that reading the stories of others affected by the condition and how they are coping can really make a difference.’

You can subscribe to the magazine for £15 a year by downloading and completing the Subscribe to Asthma Magazine form (1284 kb) [pdf] or by calling our Supporter & Information Team on 0800 121 62 55.
