Asthma UK says farewell to world-leading professor
15 Dec 11Professor Lee became the Asthma UK Chair of Allergy and Respiratory Medicine in 1988 and the inaugural director of the MRC-Asthma UK Centre in 2005. The centre brings together over 200 scientists and doctors dedicated to asthma and allergy research and has gone from strength to strength under his leadership. He also established the largest NHS clinical allergy services in the country at King’s College London treating both children and adults.
