New CD format for Asthma Mag

An audio version of Asthma Magazine is now available on CD, helping people with visual impairments to access the latest asthma news and information.

Crammed with news and research from the world of asthma, Asthma Magazine answers questions and offer advice on coping with asthma symptoms and learning to manage the condition.

‘Having the magazine on CD now means that members with a visual impairment can keep up-to-date with the latest asthma news and advice, as well as enjoying lifestyle features including interviews with celebrities with asthma,’ said Laura Smith, Asthma UK’s Asthma Magazine Editor.

The current issue (May-July 2006) features an exclusive interview with artist Gerald Scarfe, who discusses his iconic political cartoons and also explains how having asthma as a child contributed to him becoming the famous artist he is today.
