Children and young people with asthma

Asthma UK Scotland has been awarded funding from the Long Term Conditions Alliance Scotland to expand the Alert to Asthma project. This project aims to reduce the risks to children with asthma by teaching staff at schools and nurseries how to spot and deal with asthma attacks, and how to ensure children with asthma live a full and active life.

The Kick-A website provides information and advice to children with asthma. Users can play games, meet the Kick-A crew, talk to other young people with asthma throguh the message board and receive advice about their asthma from an asthma nurse specialist.
