Party conferences
Asthma UK Cymru will be attending all four party political conferences in Wales this year.
We aim to raise awareness of asthma and to influence the party manifestos for the 2007 National Assembly elections. We will have exhibition stands the following conferences:
- Plaid Cymru Party Conference 25th of February, Carmarthen
- Conservative Party Conference 3rd, 4th, 5th of March, Llandudno
- Liberal Democrats Conference, 10th, 11th and 12th of March Wrexham
- Labour Conference, 23, 24,25th March, Swansea

We recently responded to the National Assembly’s consultation on smoking in public places, putting together a very strong case for a complete ban on smoking in all public places in Wales. We will keep up the pressure to ensure that a ban is in place in Wales as soon as possible.Asthma UK Cymru will respond to all Assembly consultations that effect people with Asthma living in Wales.
