Our partners

Asthma UK Cymru aims to work with as many partners as possible to improve the health and wellbeing of people with asthma in Wales.

We keep in regular contact with other organisations, which support people with long-term medical conditions, for example The British Lung Foundation, The Chartered Society for Physiotherapy and Diabetes UK Cymru. We look for ways we can work together to put long term conditions higher up the agenda in Wales.

We are members of the Long Term Conditions Alliance (LTCA) which represents the interests of people with long term health conditions. In addition to this we are also members of the Respiratory Alliance Wales (RAW) which meets regularly to discuss approaches to respiratory issues through the work of individual organisations, sharing experience, good practice and information sharing with decision making bodies like the Welsh Assembly Government.

Upcoming Event

In July 2010 we will be attending the British Association for Lung Research(BALR) summer meeting.
