Bupa Great North Run

The Bupa Great North Run is the world’s biggest half marathon. In September over 54,000 people are expected to take part in the event.

Entry for the 2010 race has now closed but should you have been successful in the public ballot and gained your own place in the race then we would love to have you join our team. There is no minimum sponsorship target - all that we ask is that you raise as much as you can.

We will support you every step of the way. All Asthma UK runners will receive:

  • Running advice - from the type of trainers to wear, to training programmes and stretching advice. Every runner will be kitted out with a full training schedule.
  • Fundraising pack - this is crammed with useful hints and tips to help you raise money for Asthma UK. We have years of experience in helping people raise sponsorship, and if you have any questions please just give us a call.
  • Exclusive Asthma UK running vest.
  • A post race reception where you can put your feet up, re-hydrate and meet up with friends and family!

'Taking part in the Great North Run was a great experience that I will never forget. What made it even more special was the fact that I was raising money for Asthma UK, a cause very close to me.
