This event has already been established as one of the most enjoyable and memorable events in the running calendar and a perfect challenge for anyone who loves running.

The race starts and finishes in Hyde Park and also passes through Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens. Last year there was a fantastic atmosphere with a great variety of activities for all the family including the Brakes Food & Fitness Festival, the Charity Village and much, much more.

You must be 17 and over on race day to take part in this event.

The registration fee for one of guaranteed places is £48. We ask that all guaranteed place participants pledge to raise a minimum level of sponsorship of £350.

The Asthma UK Events Team is on hand to help you all the way with your fundraising and training.

As a member of the Asthma UK team, you will receive:

• A fundraising pack and ongoing fundraising support.
• Access to our training page and training plans.
• An Asthma UK exclusive running vest to wear on the day.
• Support around the course with cheer stations along the course.
• A post race reception to put your feet up, rehydrate and meet up with friends and family.
   
  

Support us with your own place in the race

The public places through the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon go on sale in March and are first come first served. If you are lucky enough to secure your own place in the race then we would love you to join the team. There is no minimum sponsorship target - all that we ask is that you raise as much as you can and in return you will receive the same team benefits.

Congratulations and a big thank you to our team of 300 runners who took part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on Sunday 11 October 2009 and raised over £130,000 in sponsorship.
