London 2 Brighton 2012

London 2 Brighton Challenge is not just a challenge – it’s a journey that you won’t forget.

Sign up as an individual or as a team and join over 1,000 participants at the start line, before setting off on this non-stop on-foot challenge to Brighton. You will depart London for the scenic route over the North and South Downs National trails, before finishing on the Brighton sea front for a well-deserved celebratory brunch.   

Whether your ambition is to complete the distance in 15 or 30 hours, the year for achieving personal goals and setting some new records is 2012. The challenge is London to Brighton!

Who can take part?

You must be 17 or over on the day of the event to take part in this challenge. You can sign up as an individual or as a team of 3, 4, 5 or 6 people (reg fee information below).

This is a physically demanding challenge over a 24-hour period, so training for the event is required.

What is provided?

We work with the tour provider Action Challenge to put on this event.

Once you sign up you will receive:

• a training plan from Action Challenge.
• a fundraising pack and advice from the experienced events team at Asthma UK.
• fully signed and supported route with pace makers, physios and medics on hand.
• regular refreshment check points.  
• hot meals provided en route.
• celebratory brunch in Brighton.

How much do I have to raise?

You will need to pay a registration fee of £75 per person to Action Challenge at the time of registering. There is a discounted reg fee available when registering teams of 5 or 6. 

You will need to pledge to raise a minimum of £375 in sponsorship, of which £100 needs to be sent to us by 31 March 2012.
