Did you know you can make your gift worth 28% more with Gift Aid - at no cost to you and bringing huge benefits to Asthma UK?
Gift Aid itIf everyone who was able to Gift Aid their donations did so, we would have enough extra funds to support one more research project every year, enabling us to do so much more to help people with asthma.

What is Gift Aid?

The government's Gift Aid scheme means that for every pound you give to Asthma UK, we will receive an extra 28p from the taxman – at no extra cost to you.

For example: 

  • You donate £10
  • The taxman will add £2.82 Gift Aid
  • Asthma UK will receive a total of £12.82
So if you are giving £5 a month to Asthma UK (£60 a year) under Gift Aid, we will be able to reclaim £16.80 across the year. To qualify you must pay this amount or more in tax across the year.

Who is eligible?

  • You must be a UK taxpayer. If you are retired you may still pay tax on your pension and savings, so most people qualify.
  • You should be paying income tax or capital gains tax equal to the amount Asthma UK can reclaim on your donations in any particular year, currently 28p for every £1.
