Partners Against Asthma
Every day asthma kills three people. With your help it doesn’t have to be this way.
Partners Against Asthma are a select group of people who help us to plan our long-term work to make a real difference to the lives of the 5.2 million people in the UK affected by this often underestimated condition.
As a Partner Against Asthma you will be key to the continued success of Asthma UK’s work, providing essential sustainable income to launch new initiatives and plan for the future. We will keep you updated on the vital work you are supporting in various ways:
- invitations to leading research institutions such as King’s College London and Imperial College London to view firsthand some of the pioneering research that we are able to fund thanks to your committed support
- invitations to seminars to hear from world renowned researchers about key advances and breakthroughs in their work
- invitations to our offices to hear from service delivery staff, such as our asthma nurse specialists who staff the life-saving Asthma UK Adviceline
- dedicated newsletters twice a year updating you on key developments in Asthma UK’s work to improve the health and well-being of people with asthma.
There will also be other opportunities for members to meet and learn more about our work in a social setting:
- World Asthma Day House of Commons reception - 6 May
- our annual Gala Evening - 25 June
- our annual Christmas Carol Service - 3 December.
