Putting Asthma in the Limelight

Why should you support us?

76 children are admitted to hospital every day having a traumatic and life threatening asthma attack. For 1 in 5 households, asthma is an unpredictable and scary condition that can result in many missed school days, hospitalisations and the ever present fear of a life threatening asthma attack.

Toby, a breath of fresh air…

Toby AnstisThis year Heart FM DJ Toby Anstis will be putting himself in the limelight for Asthma UK.

Toby tells us: ‘I was horrified to hear that in the UK a child is admitted to hospital every 19 minutes with a life-threatening asthma attack. I have asthma myself so I know how frightening this can be but for a child being rushed to hospital struggling to breathe must even more terrifying. That's why I'm supporting Putting Asthma in the Limelight 2010'
