Charity golf tournaments

This is a great way to get some exercise, spend some time with friends and raise money for Asthma UK.

Many golf club presidents are choosing to adopt Asthma UK as their annual charity and organise fundraising events throughout the year on our behalf. We can offer support advice and materials to make your year a great one. 

This is a great way to have fun as well as raise money whether you are a golf club captain, a keen golfer or even if you have never played before. 

Maybe you would like to do something to help Asthma UK for personal reasons, as in the case of the Whaley family. Lynn and David tragically lost their son, Andrew, when he had an asthma attack early in 2005. Andrew was a keen golfer and member of their local club, so one of the ways they chose to remember him was to hold a golf tournament. With the support of their local club, over 30 of their friends took part in a one day event. The day ended with an auction of golfing memorabilia, with well over £2000 raised in total.
