The Jeni Allnutt Trophy

John Kelly, who ran the Chicago and London Marathons to raise money for Asthma UK after his partner Jeni Allnutt died of asthma. John Kelly, a keen runner (pictured), speaks about his partner Jeni:

'My partner Jeni Allnutt died from an asthma attack in 2004. We had talked about running a 5K or a 10K together in the future, but unfortunately she never got the chance.

'I have run all my life and ran the Chicago Marathon last year to raise funds for Asthma UK. My idea to help organise a run for Jeni started shortly after she passed away, so I'm really excited that the female winner of the Asthma UK 10K will receive the Jeni Allnutt Trophy. This will be a fitting tribute to Jeni.'

If you have a place in this event, you can use it to support Asthma UK. Please contact us if you'd like to do this.
