Last year 275 runners pounded the streets of Newcastle in support of Asthma UK and helped to raise over £85,000.

We will support you every step of the way. All Asthma UK runners will receive:

Running advice - from the type of trainers to wear, to training programmes and stretching advice. Every runner will be kitted out with a full training schedule.
Fundraising pack - this is crammed with useful hints and tips to help you raise money for Asthma UK. We have years of experience in helping people raise sponsorship, and if you have any questions please just give us a call.
Exclusive Asthma UK running vest.
A post race reception where you can put your feet up, re-hydrate and meet up with friends and family!

Can you pledge to raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship? If so, we'd love to hear from you! To register for a guaranteed entry place with Asthma UK in the 2009 Bupa Great North Run, enter online now by clicking on the Register Now button.

The registration fee is £40 and once you have completed the online registration form you will receive an email to confirm that your entry has been successful.

You must be 17 or over to take part in this race.
