Travel & accommodation
If you require travel and accommodation for the Marathon, the companies listed here should be able to help. If you are planning to book your own accommodation rather than taking a package, the best places to stay are in the Blackheath or Greenwich areas of South East London, close to the race start, or hotels which are close to the Docklands Light Railway, Jubilee Line or London Bridge station to make your journey to the start as convenient as possible.
Please be aware that you will need to pick up your running number in person from the Flora London Marathon Exhibition at the Excel Centre in Docklands between Wednesday 9-Saturday 12 April 2008. Watch this space for more information about the exhibition.
Travel on the day in London will be exceptionally busy so make sure you plan your route and meeting points for friends and family in advance. For downloadable versions of London Underground maps please click here.
Please note that although we can give you advice about the areas to stay in and how to get to the race start, we are unable to make any bookings for you - you need to contact the tour operators directly. All bookings are made at your discretion and Asthma UK is not responsible for any bookings.
