Asthma UK at the
Broad Gallery

The Broad Gallery will hold an exclusive viewing, held in aid of Asthma UK, and showcase some of the 20th century’s most renowned masterpieces. In addition, there will be an opportunity to win a Renoir and bid on a variety of celebrated artwork, including a Gavin Turk. 

The private event offers guests an opportunity to view and purchase from the Broad Gallery’s rich and diverse collection of original lithographs, etchings and mixed media prints by the most celebrated artists of the modern era. Limited edition works by Marc Chagall, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Pierre Auguste Renoir are included in the Broad Gallery’s impressive collection.

Thirty five per cent of all artwork sold on the night will go towards improving the lives of the 5.4 million people in the UK living with asthma.

The event begins at 6.30pm on 30 March 2010 with wine and canapés. Tickets cost £25 and include entry to the raffle to win ‘Seated Nude’, a black and white etching from original plates by Pierre Auguste Renoir. This work is dated circa 1900 and is valued at £1,000.
