Over five million people in the UK have asthma – including more than a million children. Three people still die of asthma every day in the UK and tragically, two thirds of these deaths could have been prevented with better routine care. 

Asthma UK is leading a new approach in the charity sector; one which is driven by customer experience and powered by technology to grow our reach and increase our impact. 

We’re looking for individuals, whatever their backgrounds, who are passionate about making real and lasting change for people living with asthma. Asthma UK doesn’t tend to suit people who:

  • Want to manage big budgets or lots of agencies
  • Like operating in a team with little interaction from other colleagues or integration of plans
  • Don’t enjoy debate or facilitation, and lack confidence in offering their point of view
  • Are frightened by taking personal responsibility to solve problems 
  • Who are not at a stage where they wish to grow and learn from others.
