How we’re structured

There are around 80 of us in the Asthma UK team with roles at various levels in four different directorates:

  1. Digital Health
  2. Fundraising
  3. Research & Policy
  4. Operations

Every team strives to be the best in their field, encouraging curiosity and bringing new ideas to the table. Our relatively small size and the fact that roles are often very varied means there are broad development opportunities and frequent contact with senior colleagues and our Board of Trustees. We are increasing our investment in learning and development, especially to improve our research partnership and digital capability.

We’re based in our London office in the vibrant Aldgate area.

What it’s like in our office

We have a super-friendly, high-energy working environment where everyone knows each other and with lots of opportunities for cross-team projects and social events. People from all departments often enjoy supporting our many fundraising events, from cheering on our runners in the London Marathon to whipping up something tasty for our annual Big Asthma Bake Sale.

Of course, we’re not perfect. Each time we send out the staff survey we deliberately ask new questions about areas we know we need to improve. We listen to our staff and we’re working hard to make changes and improve our ways of working.
